Week 27 1/2 - (1/26/15) - Elder McSheehy's Words

Ok.. So as you may have heard that I got transferred last week. So Let's just say it was almost harder than leaving home.. I told myself before I would even get my call letter that Nothing was going to get in the way of me spending my mission to the fullest! I would not cry because of me missing my familly. I would oinly cry because I was so excited to goi on my mission. So Through the MTC and my First area (the Stead ward) I Loved the people so much. I made Greiat friends and grew to love the people so much! I love working with the sisters. They helped strengthen my testimony and my teaching skills. The spanish missionaries kept me sane! They have become my best friends. So this was Elder Carvajal's last transfer as a missionary. So we had Tons of fun. So we got transfer calls last sunday & I found out that I would be transferred out of my home area.. :( When I heard this at first I was a little upset. I didn't want to leave this amazing place! We had dinner the next day with the sisters (my last time seeing them for at least longer than a transfer) And I started to cry in the middle of dinner for no reason.. AUGH!!! I'm such a cry baby! *sigh..* :\ So. We said good bye and then came transfers. So I got to see Elder Carvajal for the last time that day. So we met up with our new companions (Man i'm going to miss Elder Fordham) But i picked up elder Worthington (he's got a Ton of energy so we should be able to relate very well ;D) So in transfer meeting everyone who is going home the next day goes up and sits on the stand after they get called up. So then they continue with the transfer meeting President will pick on some missionaries and make everyone laugh the entire time (usually what happens everytime). Poor elder Klingensmith was the target this time haha :D But they exchange keys to cars and keys for apartments & what not. Then they close with a song, Followed by a prayer. Now the song is called "Till we meet". Here in America, we don't believe in cruel and unusual punishment. So I don't know how they have got away with it before. *sigh* So first & second verse are ok I'm not crying yet. then we get to the thrid verse and oh my whitness. It hit me hard. So they sing the song and Elder Carvajal, Tex, and I are all crying. We give each other a hug (man hug) <_< goodbye. Man I miss that Giant.. :(

NOW the possitive to this uplifting message about how amazing missionary work is ;D

So this week has been super crasyy. We get reffereals EVERY DAY. at LEAST 1. It's amazing!! one of Elder Carvajal's "sons" Is my our district leader! He's also pretty cool! I'm still senior companion wich is cool. (suprising) but cool. So we had our first sunday & it looks like we are going to have lots of fun in this ward. Some are a little upset because they've had sisters in this ward for 12 years O-o... WOW! >_< we've had lots of people drop us because they only wanted to speak with sisters. Our ward mission leader says it's just weeding out the those who are actually interested and who isn't! That's what every missionary needs anyways :]. So our most promising investigators are 12-14 year old girls -_-. It's kind of funny because they listen but joke around the entire time :P.
so i'm really sorry if i haven't written you a letter in a while i've been pretty busy :\ I haven't had the time :\. But remeber i miss you guys a lot and i will repent and write you as soon as possible!
:]
